Beverages

Beverages for hotels, venues and QSR

Hotels, cafes, QSR and event venues brief drinks in cans and bottles. Licensed venues can also brief beer and lager, including kegs. QSR Supplier keeps those ranges separate. Shiiv Imports is the importer and sourcing partner, working through partner factories. We are not the manufacturer.

What does a beverages supplier provide?

Zero-alcohol malt, non-alcohol light malt and other drinks briefed for vending, cafes and events, in cans and bottles. Beer and lager are supplied only to licensed venues and trade buyers. We do not sell alcohol to the public or to anyone under 18.

Shiiv Imports Pty Ltd is the sourcing partner and importer, not the manufacturer. Shiiv holds ISO 9001. Product certifications stay with the factory that holds them.

Organic options available on request. Organic foodservice supply.

Specification

What to put in a beverages brief

A written brief is what partner factories pack against. Labelling for Australia and New Zealand is confirmed per brief. If you already have a specification, send that.

Points to cover in a beverages specification
PointWhy it mattersWhat to state
Range Soft drinks and beer are not the same order. Zero-alcohol, other drinks, or beer and lager for a licensed venue.
Licence Alcohol is limited to licensed venues and trade buyers. Confirm the buyer is a licensed venue or a trade buyer before beer or lager is briefed.
Pack A cafe fridge, a vending channel and a keg cellar use different packs. Can, bottle or keg, plus the size.
Private label A venue label still has to match the licence rule on alcohol. Your artwork, and whether the liquid contains alcohol.
Label The panel has to match the sites you serve. Label copy confirmed per brief for Australia and New Zealand, and minimum shelf life on arrival.

From brief to delivery

How sourcing and samples work

You name the drink, the pack and whether the buyer is a licensed venue. Samples are arranged for the trade buyer. Partner factories pack the approved line, and Shiiv ships to the warehouse or distribution centre named on the order in Australia or New Zealand. The steps match how a chain brief works.

  1. 01

    Brief

Send the drink, the pack and the type of buyer. Say if the site is a licensed venue.

  2. 02

    Sample

Samples go to the trade buyer for a check before you commit.

  3. 03

    Specification and artwork

The approved spec and any venue artwork are locked in writing.

  4. 04

    Pack

Partner factories pack to that specification. Shiiv is not the manufacturer.

  5. 05

    Ship

Shiiv arranges delivery to the warehouse or distribution centre named on the order. Alcohol goes only to licensed venues and trade buyers.

Why brief QSR Supplier

  • Licensed trade
